Dorothy’s workshops, both here at Painter’s Corner and across the country, are listed below.  From time to time we also welcome Guest Artists at the shop, and these class dates are included as well.  We hope you will be able to attend one or more of these workshops, and of course, hope to see many of you here at the shop this year...we always look forward to greeting old friends, and meeting new ones. 

Dorothy’s seminars are open to any and all students...her methods and techniques can be easily learned by anyone, from beginner to advanced.  Classes at Painter’s Corner are taught at a moderate pace, beginning at 9am and lasting until 4:30 pm. The shop opens at 8 a.m.  In her seminars, Dorothy usually teaches 4-5 separate projects, which may leave time on Friday to complete the paintings, add final details ,etc.  Certification Classes are more intensive study classes offered for those wishing to take their skills to higher levels. 

Deposits as noted are required to register for Painter’s Corner seminars; this deposit is non-refundable except in cases of extreme emergencies. For seminars in other parts of the country, contact that particular business or person for specifics.   We accept personal checks, money orders, and Visa/MasterCard.  Please include name, address, and daytime phone number with your deposit.  You may register by phone with Visa/MasterCard.  Confirmations of your deposits will be sent out when we receive them; other information, such as motel listings, maps of the area, descriptions of projects and a supply list will be sent out approximately 3-4 weeks prior to each seminar.  All your questions should be answered then; if not, just give us a quick call.  We do require that all surfaces be purchased from the shop. 

For those of you who may not know, Republic is located 10 miles southwest of Springfield, MO, and just 4 miles south of Interstate 44, in the beautiful Missouri Ozarks.  We are also less than an hour from Branson, where you can find lots of quality entertainment and activities for your whole family.  Many students plan a family vacation around their painting classes! 

Painter’s Corner also offers a wide variety of l, 2, and 3 day classes throughout the year, in addition to all the seminars...If you would like more information on any of these other classes, please let us know.  We would be glad to send you our current Class Schedule, and add your name to our mailing list for future information.
